A TomTom GPS is a common item found in cars nowadays. Most TomTom’s are used with a dash mount, sitting directly in the middle of the dashboard of a car; actually, most GPS's, regardless of the company are used with a dash mount.
People choose TomTom GPS’ because they are very reliable, unlike some others on the market which tend to not be quite as reliable. A TomTom GPS uses a lot of electrical power, as it is a powerful device itself. To power these high quality GPS’s, one needs a TomTom car charger. These car chargers lead in the race for most power consumed and connect via USB into the GPS. The TomTom car charger is genuine in the fact that it never fails nor provides low emission of power into the GPS. The cable is also genuine, as it is strong and never provides a failure in it's USB connection with the TomTom GPS itself. You can usually purchase a TomTom car charger cable anywhere on the net for a low price because they are so popular. I mean, think about it, this company has the lead when it comes to GPS's (as stated before), as you can really rely on their products.
Clearly, you can trust TomTom GPS's and their car chargers because of the reliability of the company itself.
"Not working" is a general statement you will see in regards to other GPS company's, but trust me, you will not be disappointed in TomTom. Personal experience can prove this, as I have used a TomTom for many years, and their GPS product along with their car charger is really all I need to navigate throughout the world (so to speak).
The problem is the fact that many people choose other GPS’ over TomTom, and this is something I'd love to question. TomTom leads in price, genuine quality, and technical support. I previously owned another popular brand of GPS that broke in about two months of use. I have used my TomTom again and again over the span of two years, and a few calls have been made to technical support; however, these calls have been extremely painless, as they are easy to talk to and will easily replace any damaged equipment (such as the USB cable). If you go with TomTom, you can't go wrong, I promise you that.
